A bow shackle is the most commonly used type of shackle in lifting operations and industrial applications. Thanks to its wider and more rounded design, a bow shackle provides significantly better mobility than a dee shackle, making it especially suitable for multi‑leg lifting slings where several components need to be connected at a single point. The large bow opening makes it easy to attach lifting slings, chains, wire ropes, or lifting hooks without risking pinching or unnecessary stress on the equipment.
