Lyftöglan kan belastas i alla riktningar. Den är ledad för att undvika brytning i lyftöglan vilket också gör det möjligt att vika undan öglan när den inte används. Lyftöglan är dessutom lekande (kullagerlekare) vilket gör att den alltid ställer in sig i lastriktningen.
